The allotment of the Further Public Offering (FPO) of Citizen Bank International Ltd. (CZBIL) was successfully concluded yesterday Friday morning 10th August 2018 (25 Shrawan 2075) by Global IME Capital Ltd., its issue manager. The allotment was held amidst a program organized at Global IME Capital Office in Jamal, Kathmandu at 9:00 AM.
There were a total of 62,782 applications for 61,05,630 unit FPO shares of which 73 applications were cancelled due to application errors. Since it was oversubscribed, exactly 46,382 (73.96%) of the 62,709 valid applicants were decided through lottery, and each of 46,376 lucky ones got a mandatory 10 unit minimum shares as per the SEBON directive and each of the rest 6 more super lucky ones received 11 unit shares, while the remaining 16,327 (26.04%) were unfortunately left empty-handed.
The bank had issued a total of 4,63,826 unit FPO shares at a rate of Rs 200 per unit share including a face value of Rs 100 plus a premium of additional Rs 100 per unit share for 4 days just a week ago starting from Tuesday 31st July 2018 (15th Shrawan 2075) till Friday 3rd August 2018 (18th Shrawan 2075), and collected in total of Rs 1.21 billion (Rs 1.21arbas).
Recently, the bank has posted a net profit of Rs 1.40 billion (Rs 1.40 arbas) up to the end of its fourth quarter (Q4) of the fiscal year (FY) 2074/'075. The allottees of this FPO will also be eligible for any further dividend the bank might declare in the near future.
The bank issued the FPO in order to maintain its promoter and its general shareholders at the ratio of 51 : 49. At present, the promoter shareholders have 51.29% and the general shareholders have 48.71% share ownerships in the bank.
After the issuance of this FPO, the paid-up capital of the bank will reach Rs 8.07 billion (Rs. 8.07 arbas). As per the financial report of the last FY published under NFRC format, the bank earned a net profit of Rs 1.27 billion (Rs 1.27 arbas) and has maintained EPS of Rs 15.86. The bank has a dividend capacity of Rs 964.9 million (Rs. 96.49 crores).
ICRA Nepal has assigned Grade 3 rating to the FPO issuance indicating Average Fundamentals.
